Review of the Feasibility study for the Dubrovnik-Zagreb high speed road

Petar Đukan

Abstract

In the response to the "Feasibility study for the Dubrovnik-Zagreb high-speed road", as presented in the issue No. 6/2000, the first comment focuses on the term "high-speed road" which is regarded as something that is not defined in an appropriate manner. The attention is drawn to the inconsistent approach during preparation of the study. It is emphasized that the Study does not prove economic validity of the project. Finally, the author uses an example of three corridors in the Zagreb - Split - Rijeka triangle to shows the way in which the global comparative analysis should be carried out.
