Sewage collection facility in the port of Split

Abstract

The sewerage construction project carried out in the port of Split is described as a good example of the complexity of work technology and construction management skills needed on works realized in trafficcongested urban areas. The author describes the work carried out by Konstruktor-inženjering on the most complex coastal portion of this facility, spreading from the town's open-air market to Katalinić hill, where the builders realized the sewerage network to the east of the train station, pumping station, preliminary treatment channel, and the new diffuser at the sewer outfall site.
